MAN Reading for Pleasure: Home

This guide is devoted to books and reading that is purely personal, recreational, and non-academic.

This library guide was created to help UW-Manitowoc students learn how to find books to read that will bring them pleasure and joy over the summer.  Enjoy the change of pace that the warmer weather brings and relax if you can.  This is the perfect time to read recreationally.   It is also a good time to learn more about yourself by reading--exploring careers by reading memoirs, for example.  Or reading the classic works within your major.  This guide is intended to help you find the perfect book:  the book that will enchant, engage, and transport you into a full, rich experience.

I hope that this summer you will experience the pleasure and self-awareness that reading brings!
